The Tradesmans Arms is perfectly located for exploring The South Hams and beyond. Situated on the outskirts of Stokenham which is a charming village between Dartmouth and Kingsbridge. Dartmouth can be reached easily along the most stunning coastal road that rises high above small coves and past award winning beaches. Dartmouth Castle still oversees the harbour  entrance today and is worth a visit. Now a bustling seaside town Dartmouth 's cobbled streets are lined with  wonderful shops and restaurants. Kingsbridge (5 miles) to the west is quieter than Darmouth but still attracts visitors with its market days and estuary views.

To the south is the famous sailing town of Salcombe with its collection of shops, harbour and coves. The village of Hope Cove can also be found with views of Burgh Island and beyond. Further afield but still less than an hour away is Dartmoor as is the City of Plymouth with all its Naval History. After exploring back to the Tradesmans Arms for good food and comfortable surroundings.
