Sorry Currently Closedfor rebuild due to the devastating fire in September 2021
See below for the latest updates
Apologies, as an update is long overdue. As you can imagine we have been extremely busy over the past months, but are making great progress both inside and outside which you can see in the updated pictures below.
We understand that there have been a number of rumours as to our opening date, the most recent of which is that the opening date is the 1st December. Unfortunately we will NOT be ready to open by the 1st December.
You will have seen that the scaffolding is down on the outside and the new lettering and lighting are in place. However, we still have a way to go on the inside, painting, hanging doors, the electrics, etc, not to mention fitting the kitchen and furnishing the rooms.
So we will keep you informed of progress over the next few months and thank you for your continued support.
Pete, Liza, Cathie & the team
A warm welcome is offered at The Tradesman’s Arms, a fine turn of the 14th Century thatched pub and restaurant with accommodation in the picturesque village of Stokenham Devon.
Considered to be one of the prettiest pubs in Devon, The Tradesman’s Arms is the ideal location should you wish to visit us for a pint of traditional real ale, a glass of fine wine, a light bite or an enjoyable evening meal.
Inside, you will find a relaxed ambiance full of style and comfort with its cosy interior. During the cooler months the log-burning fire creates a lovely atmosphere whilst in warmer months the stunning beer garden and colourful hanging baskets further enhance this charming South Devon Free House & Restaurant.
